Oklahoma City joined the old C.H.L. for the 65/66 season after a franchise shift from Minneapolis. The Oklahoma City Blazers suspended operation after the 71/72 season. But the Blazers only missed 1 season before returning with a new parent club. The Blazers played the next 4 seasons before leaving again after the 76/77 season.
Oklahoma City Blazers 1974/75:

This first Oklahoma City Blazer home jersey is a knit type. I didn't get the manufacters name, oops. All the lettering is individual sewn onto the front of the jersey along with the maple leafs on the shoulder, nnob. Dave S. has supplied us more infomation about this jersey, for some reason the Blazers didn't put sleeve numbers on their jerseys this year. The jersey shows a little wear and stains here and there, but generally its in great shape. Notice the neck band has been torn. During this time the Oklahoma City Blazers were the farm team for the Toronto Maple Leafs. (thanks to Steve E. for the photo)
Oklahoma City Blazers 1975/76:

This second jersey is a road Blazer jersey. It was made by Rawlings and is a thin mesh that you can see right through to the numbers on the back. The lettering, numbers, and maple leafs on the shoulders are all heat transferred on, nnob. The waist stripe is made of the same thin mesh as the rest of the jersey. There is very little wear on this jersey, some stains can be seen on left cuff area. Again the Blazers were the farm team for the Toronto Maple Leafs at this time. Dave S. says that due to the little wear on the jersey, that it was most likely worn by Don Ashby for a few games before he changed his jersey number to #14. (thanks to Steve E. for the photo)
